South Africa Sets 195 for Pakistan in 1st T20 Clash

South Africa set a target of 195 runs for Pakistan in the Pakistan vs South Africa 1st T20 match played at Rawalpindi Stadium. The South African team scored 194 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Pakistan, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first in this exciting opening game of the three-match T20 series.
In South Africa’s innings, Reeza Hendricks was the top scorer with a brilliant 60 runs, while George Linde made 36 and Tony de Zorzi added 33 runs. Their solid performance helped South Africa reach a strong total despite losing wickets at regular intervals.

From Pakistan’s side, Mohammad Nawaz was the most successful bowler, taking 3 wickets. Youngster Saim Ayub impressed with 2 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah took one wicket each. Pakistan’s bowling showed moments of brilliance but couldn’t stop South Africa from reaching a challenging total.
Pakistan’s playing XI included Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, captain Salman Ali Agha, Hasan Nawaz, Usman Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Abrar Ahmed. South Africa’s lineup was led by captain Donovan Ferreira, along with Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Tony de Zorzi, Dewald Brevis, Matthew Breetzke, George Linde, Corbin Bosch, Lizaad Williams, Nandre Burger, and Lungi Ngidi.
