The U.S. will soon find a permanent solution for Gaza, says Trump

Abu Dhabi: U.S. President Donald Trump has voiced deep concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, stating that people are dying of hunger and promising that the United States will soon find a permanent solution.

Speaking to reporters at the end of his four-day visit to the Gulf region, Trump said, “Not a single building is intact in Gaza. People are living under rubble — it’s unacceptable.”

He added that if needed, the U.S. would proudly step in to manage Gaza and turn it into a free zone where positive change can take place.

Trump’s remarks come amid intensifying Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, which have reportedly killed dozens of Palestinians in just three days — numbers now comparable to the early days of the war.

In a notable divergence from Israel’s position, Trump acknowledged deaths due to starvation in Gaza, something Israel has consistently denied. His decision to avoid visiting Israel during this tour, combined with his recent comments, suggests growing tensions between Trump and the Israeli leadership.
