Top remittance sender among overseas Pakistanis to receive civil award: PM Shehbaz


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the highest remittance-sending overseas Pakistani will be honored with a civil award, recognizing their contribution to the national economy.
Chairing a high-level meeting on overseas Pakistani affairs, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to:
Providing investment opportunities aligned with overseas Pakistanis’ expertise, resolving their issues on a priority basis and offering them enhanced facilities and incentives.
He praised overseas Pakistanis for their dedication, professionalism, and contributions in fields such as medicine, education, engineering, and consultancy, noting that they serve as true ambassadors of Pakistan abroad.
During the meeting, PM Shehbaz was briefed on the progress and strategy regarding recently announced initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by Army Chief General Asim Munir, the Deputy Prime Minister, federal ministers, and senior officials.
