Tragic accident in AJK: Five dead, four injured as vehicle falls into gorge

At least five passengers lost their lives, while four others sustained injuries after a vehicle plunged into a gorge in Haveli, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), due to slippery road conditions.
According to reports, the Rawalpindi-bound vehicle was travelling from Kahuta when it skidded off the icy road and fell into the gorge. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and transferred the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.
Earlier, a horrific accident in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) claimed the lives of 26 people when a passenger bus, carrying wedding guests from Astore to Chakwal, fell off the Thalichi Bridge into a river. Out of the 27 passengers on board, only the bride, Malaika, survived.
