Trump Hints at Possible Gaza Ceasefire by Next Week

Washington, D.C. – U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed optimism about a potential ceasefire in Gaza, suggesting that an agreement could be reached as early as next week.
Speaking to the media at the White House, Trump stated, “I believe a ceasefire in Gaza could be implemented by next week. The situation is moving in the right direction, and I’m hopeful.”
Trump also made bold claims regarding Iran, revealing that he had prevented a major military strike against Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. According to Trump, he halted plans by Israeli and American forces to launch a massive attack on Tehran.
“I knew where Khamenei was hiding. I stopped the strike. If the attack had gone through, it would’ve been one of the largest assaults in recent history, resulting in thousands of deaths and massive destruction,” Trump claimed.
He further stated that three key Iranian nuclear facilities were destroyed in U.S. operations. However, he criticised Iran’s leadership for responding with “anger and hostility” rather than gratitude.
Trump warned that if Iran continues to reject integration into the global system, its condition will deteriorate further. He added that the nuclear facilities were not evacuated before the strikes, which led to greater damage.
“I don’t think Iran will rush back into its nuclear programme anytime soon,” Trump remarked.
On the economic front, Trump highlighted that the U.S. has collected $88 billion through tariffs and indicated that countries unwilling to make deals with the U.S. may face further economic pressure.
