Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on a historic day marked with celebrations as he took the oath of office in front of an enthusiastic crowd in Washington D.C. Following the ceremony, Trump headed to the Capital One Arena, where a grand parade was held in his honour.

As part of the festivities, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, along with Vice President JD Vance and his wife, were seen at a grand cake-cutting ceremony. A grand cake, adorned with the emblem of flying planes and flowers echoing the American flag, was placed on stage, drawing the attention of the guests.

After cutting the cake with ceremonial swords, President Trump, in a spirited display of tradition, raised a sword and performed a celebratory dance, drawing cheers from his supporters. First Lady Melania Trump joined him briefly in the dance, while Vice President Pence and his wife stood nearby, enjoying the moment.

The event was filled with excitement and energy, with the audience visibly thrilled by the performance. As the ceremony concluded, Trump waved a clenched fist towards the crowd and shook hands with the officials on stage, further energising the cheering crowd.
