Abu Dhabi – During his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, U.S. President Donald Trump visited the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, hosted by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Trump toured various sections of the mosque and praised its intricate design, cultural motifs, and architectural brilliance, calling it a remarkable expression of Arab heritage.

The Crown Prince briefed the U.S. President on the mosque’s history, explaining that its construction began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. The extended timeline was due to the involvement of architects and materials from around the world, resulting in a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is renowned for its 82 domes and over 1,000 columns. It can accommodate more than 40,000 worshippers at a time and attracts millions of tourists annually from across the globe.

Trump described the mosque as a symbol of peace, tolerance, and cultural greatness, commending the aesthetic and spiritual impact of Islamic design.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., Trump’s political popularity appears to be on the rise again. Recent survey data indicates that Republican voters largely approve of his policies, particularly following debates over trade tariffs. Public concern over economic issues and inflation has also shown signs of easing.

According to the latest polls, 44% of respondents expressed support for Trump’s policies. The former president attributed ongoing economic challenges to what he called the failed policies of the Biden administration.
