Turkey Issues Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu Over Gaza Genocide

Turkey has issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials for Gaza genocide and crimes against humanity. According to Istanbul’s prosecutor office, a total of 37 Israeli officials are included in the list, including Defense Minister Katz, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, and army chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir. This move aims to hold Israeli leaders accountable for their alleged actions in Gaza.
The Turkish prosecutor’s office stated that these officials have been involved in systematic violations of human rights and genocide in Gaza. The warrants highlight Turkey’s commitment to enforcing international law and bringing attention to serious humanitarian crimes.

The statement also mentioned the ‘Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital’ in Gaza, which was built by Turkey but destroyed in an Israeli airstrike in March. The destruction of this hospital has worsened the humanitarian crisis in the region and raised international concern.
Last year, Turkey also participated in a case at the International Court of Justice in South Africa, filing allegations of genocide against Israel. This shows Turkey’s continued efforts to challenge human rights violations in Gaza and hold Israeli officials accountable on a global stage.
