Two Notorious Criminals Killed in Faisalabad CCD Encounter

In a major development in Faisalabad, two dangerous criminals were killed in a police encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD). At the same time, three of their accomplices managed to flee under the cover of darkness.
According to police sources, the incident occurred on Mahlan Road when Inspector Siddiassins, involved with Cheema, leading the CCD team, stopped two motorcycles carrying five suspicious individuals at a routine checkpoint. Instead of complying, the suspects opened fire on the officers and attempted to flee toward Kherwala Bangla.
The CCD team immediately chased the suspects, leading to a 30-minute intense gun battle. As a result, two suspects were fatally shot, later identified as Husnain and Shahjahan, both listed as hazardous criminals.
Authorities confirmed that the deceased were notorious shooters and hired assassins involved in over 40 cases, including murder, armed robbery, street crimes, and police encounters.
Police revealed that both men had previously injured several individuals during armed robberies and had long been on law enforcement’s most-wanted list.
The three remaining suspects fled the scene and are currently at large. A search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas, and all available resources are being mobilised to track them down.
An FIR has been registered at Thikriwala Police Station against both the deceased and the absconding suspects. The case is being pursued with urgency, given the seriousness of the crimes involved.
