Virat Kohli’s old tweet praising Aiden Markram goes viral after WTC final

An old tweet by Indian cricket star Virat Kohli praising South African batter Aiden Markram has resurfaced and gone viral on social media.

The tweet, originally posted in 2018, said: “Enjoyed watching Aiden Markram bat.” It began trending again after Markram’s match-winning century in the ICC World Test Championship final, where South Africa defeated Australia by five wickets to claim their first title.

Markram was named player of the final for his outstanding performance. South Africa’s captain Temba Bavuma also credited Markram’s innings as the turning point in their victory.
