According to Indian media reports, several top Bollywood celebrities and cricket stars—including Virat Kohli, Malaika Arora, Gauri Khan, and Karan Johar—regularly consume black water as part of their health and beauty routines.

Black water is a premium form of alkaline water, enriched with essential minerals and electrolytes. Compared to regular water, it has a higher pH level, which helps in detoxifying the body, improving digestion, boosting immunity, and reducing the effects of aging.

Its signature black color comes from fulvic acid and natural minerals sourced from rare underground reserves in the U.S. state of Texas.

As of 2023, the price of one bottle of black water was reported to be around ₹4,200.
