An old video of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) is making waves on social media. In the clip, MBS vows to eliminate Islamic extremism and guide Saudi Arabia towards a more moderate form of Islam.
He states:
“We want to bring modern Islam. Seventy per cent of our population is under 30 years old, and we don’t want to spend the next 30 years fighting extremist ideologies. We want to live with a modern Islam and traditions that are acceptable to everyone.”
