Weather update: A mixed bag across the country

According to the Meteorological Department, most parts of the country will experience dry weather today. However, in Gilgit-Baltistan, rain is expected to be accompanied by thunder and strong winds. The higher mountains may even see light snowfall!

In Islamabad, the weather will be dry with partly cloudy skies. Punjab will likely stay dry in most districts, while Murree and Galiyat will remain cloudy.

Smog is expected in Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad. Upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have partly cloudy conditions, and dry weather is anticipated in most areas of Balochistan. Meanwhile, Kashmir will remain dry but with some cloud cover.
