WhatsApp is preparing to roll out a new and convenient feature called “Chat Media Hub”, to simplify how users manage and access shared media files.

According to sources familiar with WhatsApp updates, the new feature is being developed for the WhatsApp Web version. The Chat Media Hub will serve as a centralised space where users can view all their shared photos, videos, GIFs, documents, and links — all in one place, regardless of which chat they came from.

This addition will appear as a new button on the WhatsApp Web interface’s sidebar. Clicking it will open a dedicated section showing a well-organised collection of all media content shared across your chats.

For users who often forget which conversation a file was sent in, this feature will save time and hassle. Instead of opening multiple chats to search for a specific image or document, users can simply open the Chat Media Hub and find it instantly.

While the feature hasn’t been officially released, it’s expected to arrive soon in beta versions. Once launched, it’s likely to become one of the most appreciated updates — further enhancing WhatsApp’s user experience and media management capabilities.
