Pink Moon

The first full moon of spring, also known as the Pink Moon, will light up the skies this weekend, creating a stunning sight for stargazers around the world. Despite its name, the moon won’t actually appear pink, but the name is inspired by the pink flowers that bloom in early spring.

This year, the Pink Moon will reach its peak on the night of Saturday, April 12. However, in Pakistan, it will be visible on Sunday, April 13, with moonrise expected around 9:08 p.m. in Karachi. It will remain visible throughout the night, providing a beautiful and bright view for all to enjoy.

This full moon is also known as the Paschal Moon, which plays a significant role in determining the date of Easter. The next full moon after this will be the Flower Moon, which will rise on May 12, 2025
