Woman doesn’t like husband’s beard, runs away with clean-shaven brother-in-law

A woman in Meerut left her husband and eloped with her brother-in-law, marrying him instead. The incident unfolded after repeated requests from her husband to shave off his beard, a condition which the wife had insisted upon from the very beginning of their marriage.

According to reports, the woman, identified as Arshi, had married Shakir, a religious scholar, seven months ago. However, shortly after their marriage, Arshi began pressuring her husband to shave off his beard, citing family pressures.

Shakir revealed that his wife had made it clear that she would only stay with him if he agreed to shave his beard. This constant disagreement led to frequent arguments between the couple, with Shakir even voicing his concerns to Arshi’s family.

Reports suggest that the matter escalated when Shakir refused to give in to his wife’s demands. Eventually, Arshi, unable to reconcile the differences, decided to run away with her brother-in-law.
