Pakistan women’s cricket team qualifies for ICC Women’s World Cup after dominant win

Lahore: The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team has officially qualified for the ICC Women’s World Cup following a commanding 87-run victory over Thailand in their fourth qualifier match.
Batting first, the Green Shirts posted a solid total of 205 runs. Opener Sidra Ameen led the charge with a brilliant 80-run knock, while captain Fatima Sana contributed a crucial half-century.
In response, the Thailand Women’s Team was bowled out for just 118 runs. Pakistan’s bowlers delivered an exceptional performance, with Fatima Sana, Nashra Sandhu, and Rameen Shamim each taking three wickets.
This emphatic win not only maintains Pakistan’s unbeaten streak in the tournament but also secures their place in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup.
