PIA Resumes Skardu-Dubai Flights to Boost Tourism in Northern Pakistan

Islamabad: In a major step to promote tourism in the region, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially resumed direct flights between Skardu and Dubai starting from May 30, 2025.
The initiative aims to enhance accessibility to Pakistan’s stunning northern areas, making it easier for international tourists and overseas Pakistanis to visit scenic destinations like Skardu, known for its breathtaking landscapes, mountains, and cultural heritage.
By reconnecting Skardu with Dubai, a global travel hub, the national carrier hopes to attract more visitors to the region, support local businesses, and boost eco-tourism. Officials say the resumption of these flights is part of broader efforts to improve air connectivity and showcase Pakistan’s natural beauty to the world.
