Supreme Court verdict restores 77 reserved seats in national and provincial assemblies

Following the Supreme Court’s recent decision overturning the allocation of reserved seats to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), 77 reserved seats across the National Assembly and four provincial assemblies have been restored.
National Assembly:
Restored Seats: 22 (Women: 19, Minorities: 3)
New Allocations:
PML-N: 14 seats
PPP: 5 seats
JUI-F: 3 seats
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly:
Restored Seats: 25 (Women: 21, Minorities: 4)
New Allocations:
JUI-F: 10
PML-N: 7
PPP: 7
ANP: 1
Punjab Assembly:
Restored Seats: 27 (Women: 24, Minorities: 3)
New Allocations:
PML-N: 23
PPP: 2
PML-Q: 1
IPP: 1
Sindh Assembly:
Restored Seats: 3 (Women: 2, Minorities: 1)
New Allocations:
PPP: 2
MQM: 1
These seats were previously considered vacant after a Supreme Court ruling nullified an earlier order to allocate them to PTI. The fresh distribution strengthens the position of ruling coalition parties at both national and provincial levels.
