Actress Humaira Asghar found dead in Karachi flat

Karachi: Actress and model Humaira Asghar was found dead in her flat in Defence Phase 6, police confirmed on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the 35-year-old had been living alone in the flat for the past seven years. She had rented the flat in 2018 and reportedly stopped paying rent in 2024. The homeowner had filed a legal case, and the body was discovered when a bailiff arrived to enforce the court order.
Initial investigation suggested natural causes, but the body was several days old, making identification difficult. Authorities have moved the body to Jinnah Hospital, and DNA testing will be conducted for confirmation.
SSP South stated that the flat has been sealed, and further investigation is underway. So far, no family members have come forward.
