Authorities in Rawalpindi have declared a one-day holiday due to unfavourable weather conditions. Residents have been advised to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel for their safety.
A statement shared by the Deputy Commissioner’s office on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) read:
“The public is asked to stay at home and not to leave unnecessarily.”
The local administration has urged citizens to remain cautious and follow official guidelines. Emergency services are on alert, and the situation is being closely monitored to ensure public safety.
