We Won’t Let Youth Stay Uneducated, Says Hafiz Naeem

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said that “we will not let the youth remain uneducated, we will spread the light of knowledge.” Speaking at a ceremony in Malakand under the “Bano Qabil” program, he said that free education, especially in IT, is the key to Pakistan’s progress. He stressed that empowering youth with knowledge is the only way to build a strong and developed nation.
He revealed that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, around 5 million children between the ages of 5 to 16 are out of school. He questioned who is responsible for this crisis. He said that without proper education, the future of these children—and of Pakistan—will be at risk.

Hafiz Naeem criticized the current government, saying it is too busy with internal conflicts and power struggles. He said that no one is thinking about the real problems of the people, such as education, healthcare, and jobs.
He added that there must be one education system for all—not separate systems for the rich and the poor. He also promised that 100% free scholarships would be given so that no child is left behind due to financial problems.
