Arrested Suicide Bomber Makes Shocking Revelations

South Waziristan: A detained suicide bomber has made startling revelations exposing an alleged nexus between Afghan Taliban elements and extremist groups involved in recruiting and brainwashing young Afghan men for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
According to security officials, the suspect — identified as Naimatullah, a resident of Kandahar, Afghanistan — was arrested in a major operation by Frontier Corps (FC) South in South Waziristan. His confession reportedly unveiled how certain groups in Afghanistan are influencing young minds under the guise of religious education.
Naimatullah, who studied at Joharia Madrasa in Kandahar, revealed during interrogation that he was told by some individuals at the seminary that “jihad against the Pakistan Army was justified.” He said that around 40 individuals gathered in Khost before crossing into Pakistan via Chiwark to reach Lalezy, South Waziristan, where they joined a militant training center led by a commander named Umar Hamas.

The detained suspect further disclosed that the training for suicide missions usually lasted three months, but he participated for only one week. During this period, recruits were instructed on how to carry out vehicle-borne and checkpoint attacks.
He added that his group consisted of 20 young men aged between 18 and 22. However, Naimatullah claimed that upon hearing the call to prayer (Azan) from a nearby mosque during training, he realized that “the Pakistan Army consists of Muslims too, and attacking them is wrong.”
