Lahore Court Grants Bail to YouTubers Rajab Butt, Nadeem Naniwala

A Lahore court granted interim bail on Monday.The relief was given to TikTokers Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak.Nadeem Mubarak is also known as Nadeem Naniwala.The case involves promotion of a gambling app.The decision brought temporary legal relief.

Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi heard the petitions.He approved interim bail until January 6.The court ordered both accused to join investigations.Their cooperation was made mandatory.The hearing took place in Lahore.

Meanwhile, the court restrained police action.Police were barred from arresting the accused.This protection remains valid until January 6.The court emphasized lawful investigation procedures.No final decision has been made yet.

Both accused filed bail petitions through legal counsel.Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq represented them in court.Rajab Butt submitted one bail application.Nadeem Naniwala filed two separate petitions.Each petition related to NCCIA cases.

Earlier, the NCCIA registered cases against both TikTokers.Authorities accused them of promoting gambling content.Investigations are currently underway.Further hearings are expected next month.The case continues to draw public attention.

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, was granted bail by the Lahore High Court on Monday. Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry approved his request, ordering his release after he furnished a Rs1 million bail bond. Earlier, Justice Farooq Haider had recused himself from hearing the case, leading to the formation of a new bench.

Ducky Bhai’s arrest stemmed from his alleged involvement in promoting gambling platforms through his YouTube channel. The Lahore NCCIA took action after discovering fraudulent activities linked to gambling apps, causing significant public losses. Ducky Bhai, along with his wife Arooba Jatoi, denied any involvement in illegal promotions, claiming they were unaware of the apps’ fraudulent nature.
