Five Policemen Martyred in Terrorist Attack During Patrol

Five policemen were martyred after terrorists opened fire on a police mobile near Gargri police station on Tuesday. Authorities immediately launched a full-scale operation to apprehend the attackers. The officers were on routine patrol when the terrorists struck, targeting them indiscriminately.
Police sources confirmed that four officers died at the scene, while a fifth succumbed to injuries later, as reported by DPO Karak Saud Khan. The attack shocked the local community and raised security concerns. A heavy police contingent, including the DPO, was dispatched to the site to secure the area.
Authorities cordoned off the area and are collecting evidence to identify the perpetrators. Security officials emphasized that every effort is underway to track down the accused. They also assured residents that the region is being secured to prevent further attacks.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep grief over the loss of five police personnel. He prayed for the highest ranks of the martyrs and extended condolences to their families. The Prime Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, calling it a “clear act of barbarity by savage elements.” He praised the police for their bravery and stated the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain. Naqvi emphasized that the state would respond with full force against the perpetrators.

Two policemen were martyred in Naushero Feroze police post firing when armed men opened fire at a police checkpoint near Bahria Road. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the shooting, creating panic in the area. Police teams reached the site shortly after the incident and began investigation.
According to police officials, both officers were on night duty at the checkpoint when the armed suspects attacked. The slain policemen were identified as Saeed Solangi and Ghulam Hussain Rajpar. Both were performing their duties when they came under fire from unidentified assailants.
