Pakistan Promotes Healthcare Innovation at Dubai Exhibition

The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated at the World Health Exhibition (WHX) 2026 in Dubai. The event ran from February 9 to 12 at South Hall 3, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, and Muhammad Saleh, Press Counsellor, Consulate General of Pakistan, attended the ceremony along with representatives from participating Pakistani companies.
A total of 40 leading Pakistani companies are participating under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). They are showcasing healthcare manufacturing, medical devices, surgical instruments, and pharmaceutical innovations. The pavilion highlights Pakistan’s growing presence and competitiveness in the global healthcare industry.
The World Health Exhibition 2026, organized under the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, is among the world’s largest healthcare events. This year, over 4,300 exhibitors are participating, attracting more than 235,000 healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders. Delegates are attending from over 180 countries, making it a truly global platform for healthcare trade.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ali Zeb Khan highlighted Pakistan’s growing strength in surgical instruments, medical equipment, and pharmaceuticals. He said Pakistani companies are internationally recognized for quality, innovation, and competitiveness. He added that WHX provides a strategic opportunity to strengthen trade and investment ties with the UAE.
Khan further noted that Pakistan’s participation will enhance the country’s international profile and boost healthcare exports. The UAE serves as Pakistan’s second-largest trading partner, offering a gateway to regional and international markets. The pavilion is expected to foster economic cooperation and promote Pakistan’s innovative healthcare solutions on a global stage.
