A private airline flight from Riyadh to Islamabad made an emergency landing in Karachi after a passenger suddenly fell ill mid-air. The passenger was provided immediate medical assistance upon landing.
The flight had departed from Riyadh and was en route to Islamabad when the medical emergency occurred.
According to officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority, the passenger’s condition deteriorated while the aircraft was in Iranian airspace, prompting the captain to declare an emergency.
The pilot contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control and requested permission for an emergency landing, which was promptly granted.
