 Islamabad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf decided not to attend the Prime Minister House briefing on Wednesday. The meeting was intended to discuss the regional situation after US-Israel attacks on Iran. PTI officials said they will only participate after arrangements for a meeting with Imran Khan are made. The decision was taken during a political committee meeting in Islamabad.

During the session, the committee reviewed the current political situation in Pakistan. They also discussed the evolving regional and global crises. A formal communiqué was issued summarizing the meeting’s outcomes. The committee stressed that any participation without consultation with Imran Khan would be unacceptable. They emphasized party unity and consistent policy on national matters.

The PTI political committee strongly condemned the US-Israel attacks on Iran. They called the strikes a blatant violation of international law. The committee expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of innocent civilians. They also highlighted the deaths of more than 160 female students. They said these attacks caused widespread grief across the region.

Fatiha was offered for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and for protesters killed during demonstrations. The committee strongly condemned state violence against peaceful protesters. They demanded a transparent investigation into all incidents. They urged authorities to ensure accountability for human rights violations.

The committee also voiced concern over tensions on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. They said border security and regional stability require urgent attention. They highlighted the risk of escalation due to neighboring conflicts. They stressed the importance of diplomatic solutions and cautious monitoring.

PTI clarified that it will not attend today’s PM House briefing. They said participation depends on a formal meeting with Imran Khan. The party emphasized that Imran Khan’s constitutional rights must be fully protected. They also demanded immediate facilitation for his family and lawyers to meet him.

the committee called for urgent medical care for Imran Khan. They demanded his transfer to Shifa International Hospital if necessary. They said treatment should occur under the supervision of his personal doctors and family. The party underscored that his health and rights are a national concern.
