Naval chief says Pakistan ready to respond to any aggression

Pakistan’s Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf has said that the country is fully prepared to deliver a strong response to any form of aggression, emphasizing the armed forces’ readiness at all times.
He made these remarks while addressing the passing-out parade of the 152nd GD(P) and allied courses at Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan, where he attended as the chief guest. Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu was also present at the ceremony.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted that success in “Marka-e-Haq” reflects the professionalism and operational excellence of the Pakistan Air Force, particularly in cyber and electronic warfare domains. He noted that the PAF has emerged as a technologically advanced and capable force.
He further stated that the Pakistan Navy continues to play a vital role in safeguarding the country’s maritime borders. Referring to recent developments, he said the navy effectively deterred aggression at sea, maintaining stability in the region.
The naval chief reiterated that, with the support of the nation, Pakistan’s armed forces are successfully combating terrorism and remain committed to ensuring national security. He also pointed to the collective efforts of Pakistan’s political and military leadership in contributing to a ceasefire in the Middle East.
Additionally, he mentioned that global oil supplies were impacted due to tensions involving Iran and the United States, as well as disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
During the ceremony, graduating cadets took their oath, and awards were presented to those who demonstrated outstanding performance. The event featured an impressive fly-past by various formations, and the chief guest also reviewed the parade. A large number of local and foreign dignitaries, families, and attendees from different walks of life were present.
