Trump Signals Iran Deal Progress and Possible Islamabad Visit

U.S. President Donald Trump said that a deal with Iran is close and suggested he could visit Islamabad if the agreement is finalized. He also praised Pakistan’s role in supporting regional ceasefire efforts.

Trump said Iran has agreed to almost all major points in ongoing negotiations. He added that Pakistan has performed well in supporting ceasefire stability. He also praised Pakistan’s leadership, including its prime minister and military chief.

In addition, Trump said the next meeting with Iran could take place over the weekend. He noted that negotiations have made strong progress and expressed confidence that a final agreement may soon be reached.

However, he warned that if no deal is reached, conflict could resume. He emphasized that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons. He also said Iran is now showing willingness to agree on terms it previously rejected.

He suggested that continued progress could open the door to further international engagement, including a possible Islamabad visit after an deal with Iran.
