Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz once again after accusing the United States of imposing a blockade. Officials confirmed that the waterway has not been reopened. Instead, they said full control and strict restrictions have been restored due to rising tensions.

Moreover, Iranian military spokespersons stated that the US continued actions they called violations and failed commitments. They said Iran responded by tightening security in the Strait of Hormuz. As a result, maritime movement is now under strict military control.

In addition, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the Strait will remain closed to normal international navigation. They said no free movement will be allowed until the US ensures full and unrestricted access for Iranian-linked shipping. Therefore, restrictions will continue without change.
