Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz Again Amid US Tensions Escalate

Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz once again after accusing the United States of imposing a blockade. Officials confirmed that the waterway has not been reopened. Instead, they said full control and strict restrictions have been restored due to rising tensions.

Moreover, Iranian military spokespersons stated that the US continued actions they called violations and failed commitments. They said Iran responded by tightening security in the Strait of Hormuz. As a result, maritime movement is now under strict military control.

In addition, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that the Strait will remain closed to normal international navigation. Finally, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei rejected claims made by US President Donald Trump about uranium transfer discussions. He said such claims were completely false.
