Trump Says Iran Cannot Blackmail US Over Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump said Iran cannot blackmail the United States over the Strait of Hormuz. He claimed that Iran wants to close the waterway again but will not succeed. His remarks highlight rising tensions despite ongoing diplomatic engagement.
Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said talks with Iran are going very well. However, he stressed that the United States will not accept pressure tactics. He added that Iran cannot use the Strait of Hormuz as leverage in negotiations.
Moreover, Trump referred to the killing of Qasem Soleimani and defended the decision. He said Soleimani was responsible for attacks that caused deaths and injuries among US troops. He also promised to share important updates about Iran by the end of the day.

In addition, Trump criticized Spain over its economic condition and defense spending. He said Spain has not contributed enough to NATO and has failed to meet defense targets. He also stated that the US does not need permission to take military actions if required.
