Barani University Closed Till April 26

The Barani University closure has been officially announced as Rawalpindi’s major educational institution will remain shut until April 26 due to security concerns.

According to the official notification, the main campus of the university will stay closed during this period. However, academic activities will continue through online classes to ensure minimal disruption.

University administration has also instructed hostel residents to vacate their rooms immediately. This step has been taken as part of precautionary measures.

Faculty members and staff have been directed to work from home until further notice. The move aims to maintain administrative operations while ensuring safety.

Meanwhile, in Islamabad, the International Islamic University has also shifted all classes to online mode from April 20 to April 24.

Additionally, midterm examinations scheduled for April 20 and 21 have been postponed. Students will be informed about the revised schedule later.

On the other hand, Islamabad’s district administration clarified that no orders have been issued to close shops or bus terminals. Officials stated that any such decisions will be communicated in advance if required.
