Rain and Hailstorm Hit Punjab, KP, and Kashmir

Pakistan rain and hailstorm situation has impacted multiple regions, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir, bringing cooler temperatures and travel disruptions.

According to reports, rainfall was recorded in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swat, Karak, Malakand, Abbottabad, and Mansehra. The weather shift has been significant across the province.

In higher Areas such as Galyat and Naran Valley, snowfall has been reported, further dropping temperatures and creating a winter-like atmosphere.

Meanwhile, a landslide in Neelum Valley blocked the main شاہراہ at the Kel–Sharda route, leaving more than 20 tourist vehicles stranded in the Areas.

Local authorities stated that stranded travelers have been provided temporary accommodation by nearby residents, ensuring their safety during the disruption.

In Balochistan, rainfall was also recorded in upper parts of Ziarat Valley, Toba Achakzai, and Toba Kakari, contributing to changing weather patterns across the country.

Additionally, the Karakoram Highway near Kohistan’s Lachi Nala was blocked due to another landslide. The Meteorological Department has forecast more rain in upper regions, urging caution for travelers.
