Trump claims severe damage to Iran military

Donald Trump has made sweeping claims about the condition of Iran’s military, asserting that the country has suffered extensive losses amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said that Iran’s “entire navy is at the bottom of the sea,” while also claiming that its air force and air defence systems have been effectively destroyed. The remarks came as Trump criticized an opinion article published in The Wall Street Journal, which suggested that Iranian leadership viewed him as easily influenced. Rejecting the claim, Trump argued that Iran had taken advantage of previous US administrations over the past several decades, but insisted that his approach had been different.
