FC Balochistan holds jirga in north Balochistan to address public issues

A high-level jirga was held in northern  under the leadership of Inspector General FC (North), bringing together district administration officials, political leaders, tribal elders and members of the public to discuss security, development, and pressing community concerns.

According to officials, the jirga focused on improving law and order, accelerating development projects, and ensuring swift resolution of public grievances. Participants described the gathering as an important step toward strengthening coordination between local communities and state institutions in the region.

During the session, the Inspector General Frontier Corps (North) personally listened to various issues raised by tribal elders and citizens. He issued on-the-spot directives to relevant authorities for the immediate resolution of several concerns, emphasising that public service delivery must be prioritised and made more efficient.

Speaking on the occasion, the IG FC underscored that peace, stability, and progress in Balochistan are closely linked to unity, cooperation, and active participation of the local population. He reiterated that security forces remain committed to ensuring a safe environment conducive to development and long-term prosperity in the province.

Tribal elders praised the role of the Frontier Corps in maintaining peace in the region, particularly in areas where security challenges had persisted in the past. They said that the efforts and sacrifices of security forces had contributed significantly to restoring normalcy in districts such as Dera Bugti.

Participants also welcomed the jirga as a constructive platform for dialogue, saying it helps bridge gaps between authorities and local communities. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue cooperation with the government and security institutions for maintaining peace and promoting development initiatives.

The jirga concluded with mutual assurances that similar engagements would continue in the future to address local issues more effectively and strengthen trust between the public and state institutions.
