7-Year-old Bengali Tiger dies at Bahawalpur’s historic Sher Bagh

A 7-year-old Bengali tiger has passed away at the historic Sher Bagh in Bahawalpur. The tiger had been ill for several weeks and had stopped eating or drinking for the past three days.
According to Sher Bagh’s curator, Usman Bukhari, the tiger died due to kidney and stomach-related issues. The body has been sent to the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Islamia University for a post-mortem examination.
Sher Bagh authorities further revealed that the Bengali tiger was born at the park in 2018. In addition to its recent health struggles, the tiger had also been suffering from an eye condition for the past three years, which had led to the loss of one of its eyes.
