PCB Chairman raises concerns over Saim Ayub’s fitness for 2025 Champions Trophy

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, has expressed concerns over the fitness of young cricketer Saim Ayub ahead of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. In a recent statement, Naqvi highlighted the importance of Ayub’s recovery and hinted at the possibility of his exclusion from the tournament.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the long-term future of the talented cricketer should not be compromised for a single event. “We cannot risk Saim Ayub’s career by rushing his recovery for the Champions Trophy,” he stated, adding that careful deliberations are ongoing as the squad is finalized for the tournament, set to take place next month.
