Gold prices surge in Pakistan

The price of 24 carat gold rose by Rs1,900 per tola and was sold for Rs 294,300 on Tuesday, up from Rs 292,400 the day before.
In addition, the price of 10 grammes of 24 carat gold rose from Rs250,685 to Rs252,314 by Rs1629, while the price of 10 grammes of 22 carat gold jumped from Rs229,802 to Rs231,296.
Silver prices rose from Rs 3,265 to Rs 3,314 per tola, a gain of Rs 49.
According to the Association, the price of gold on the global market rose by $16 from $2,799 to $2,815 today.
