A new chapter in media partnership between Pakistan and China

Pakistan and China have signed a significant agreement to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of broadcasting and audiovisual media, aiming to strengthen media collaboration and skill exchange.
The agreement was signed by Ambreen Jan, Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, and Dong Xin, Vice Minister and member of the Party Group of China’s National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA).
According to the official statement, the agreement will enable both nations to launch joint media projects, exchange experience and content, and promote training, technical assistance, and co-productions in the broadcasting sector.
This collaboration is expected to improve professional media capabilities while helping citizens of both countries understand each other’s culture, traditions, and developmental progress. It reflects the deepening partnership between Pakistan and China beyond economics—extending into media and cultural exchange as a key pillar of bilateral ties.
