Serious allegations of abuse have emerged from a refugee camp in Gaza, where a Palestinian child was reportedly subjected to torture at a military checkpoint.

According to reports, the 18-month-old child, Jawad Abu Nasser, was allegedly burned with cigarettes and injured while in custody.

Sources claim that the incident took place in the Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp, where tensions have remained high amid ongoing conflict.

It is further alleged that the child’s father, Osama Abu Nasser, was pressured into making a confession during the incident.

The child was reportedly released after approximately 10 hours through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Meanwhile, the father remains in custody, with no immediate confirmation from official sources regarding his condition or charges.
