Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to allow visa-free entry for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
The decision came after a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh’s Interior Minister Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, where bilateral relations and mutual interests were discussed.
Both ministers also agreed to enhance cooperation in internal security, police training, counter-terrorism, narcotics control, and human trafficking.
To strengthen cooperation, a joint committee has been formed, chaired by Pakistan’s Federal Secretary of Interior Khurram Agha. A high-level Bangladeshi delegation will soon visit Islamabad to review the Safe City Project and the National Police Academy.
