Asia Cup 2025 schedule announced; Pakistan and India in Group A

The Asia Cup 2025 schedule has been announced, with Pakistan, India, UAE, and Oman placed in Group A. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong will compete in Group B.
The tournament will open on September 9 with Afghanistan facing Hong Kong. Pakistan’s first match is on September 12 against Oman, followed by the highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India match on September 14. Pakistan’s third group match is scheduled for September 17 against the UAE.
The Super Four stage will begin on September 20, featuring matches between the top two teams from each group. Group B’s top teams will play on September 20, while Group A’s teams will face off on September 21. If both teams advance, Pakistan and India may meet again in the Super Four on September 21.
Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the tournament will be held in the UAE from September 9 to 28.
