Asia Cup: Modi government allows team to play against Pakistan

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has granted clearance to its national cricket team to play against Pakistan in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
According to Indian media reports, the BCCI is currently finalising the tournament’s schedule, with the official fixtures expected to be announced within the next 48 hours.
The tournament will feature eight teams: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and Oman.
Sources suggest that the United Arab Emirates is the frontrunner to host the Asia Cup 2025.
