Asia’s 10 richest families: Who tops the list?

It is well-known that Mukesh Ambani, the business magnate from India, is Asia’s richest person. But who comes after him? According to a recent Bloomberg report, the 10 wealthiest families in Asia have been revealed, shedding light on some of the biggest financial powerhouses in the region.
According to the list, the Ambani family remains the richest in Asia, with a staggering wealth of $90.5 billion. Reliance Industries plays a significant role in the family’s continued financial growth.
In second place is the Chearavanont family from Thailand, with a net worth of $42.6 billion. Their diverse range of businesses is spread across Asia.
The third spot is occupied by Indonesia’s Hartono family, which is worth $42.2 billion. This family has built its wealth through the tobacco and banking sectors.
India’s Mistry family ranks fourth with a fortune of $37.5 billion. The majority of their wealth comes from shares in Tata Sons, one of India’s largest multinational conglomerates.
In fifth place is the Kwok family from Hong Kong, with a net worth of $35.6 billion. They are predominantly known for their dominance in the real estate sector.
Taiwan’s Tsai family ranks sixth, with assets amounting to $30.9 billion. The Tsai family’s wealth is linked to their vast investments in technology and industry.
