Bad weather alert! Heavy rain and snow expected

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued a weather alert predicting strong winds and rainfall across most districts of the province from February 25 to March 1.

Rain and snowfall are expected in hilly areas, including Murree and Galiyat. Major cities such as Lahore, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Mianwali, and Sialkot may also experience rainfall from February 25 to 28.

Sargodha, Bhakkar, Khushab, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, and Gujrat are likely to also receive rain. Meanwhile, light rainfall is expected in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara, and Bahawalnagar from February 25 to 27.

Authorities have advised travellers, especially tourists, to plan their trips carefully due to the weather conditions. Citizens are urged to avoid unnecessary travel during bad weather.
