Barrister Saif: Terror Fight Is PTI Policy

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Saif said the PTI founder has no objection to action against militants in the province. he clarified that no military operation is currently underway in KP. However, the government continues its efforts against terrorism. He stressed that fighting terrorism is a shared national responsibility. The PTI founder has always supported strict measures against militants.
Barrister Saif said the PTI founder’s policy is clear—there should be no compromise or relief for terrorists. He added that the founder has never opposed counter-terror operations. The spokesperson praised the sacrifices of the people, armed forces, and police. He said their efforts have kept the province secure. According to him, unity is key in winning this war.
However, Barrister Saif criticized the federal government for spreading confusion. He claimed irresponsible statements by ministers only help terrorists. He said these statements create divisions between KP and the Centre. Saif accused the federal leadership of using terrorism for political point-scoring. This, he warned, damages trust and coordination between governments.
He particularly targeted Defence Minister Khawaja Asif for worsening the situation. Saif said such remarks only increase problems instead of solving them. He urged federal officials to act responsibly. The fight against terrorism, he stressed, requires unity and coordination. Political games, he warned, weaken national security.
On internal party matters, Saif said the PTI founder’s directives must be respected by all members. He clarified that Aleema Khan holds no official position in the party. Disputes over Senate nominations, he said, were resolved by following the founder’s word. Barrister Saif emphasized party discipline and loyalty to leadership.
