Bilawal Bhutto Raises Budget Concerns

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that discussions with the government regarding concerns over the federal budget are still ongoing. His remarks came after an important meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

A two-member government delegation, led by Ishaq Dar, met Bilawal Bhutto at his chamber to discuss key budget-related matters. During the meeting, Dar briefed the PPP chairman on financial figures and important aspects of the proposed budget.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Bilawal said the PPP still has reservations regarding certain budget measures. He added that discussions with the government are progressing and more meetings are expected in the coming days to address unresolved issues.

Bilawal emphasized that constructive dialogue remains necessary to ensure that public concerns are reflected in financial policymaking. He indicated that the PPP aims to protect the interests of the people while contributing positively to national economic decisions.

In a separate meeting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and PPP KP President Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha also met Bilawal Bhutto. The discussion focused on political and economic challenges facing the province.

During the meeting, Bilawal expressed serious concern over the wheat shortage crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He described the situation as alarming and urged immediate action to prevent further difficulties for the public, especially farmers and low-income families.
