Cambodia Plans to Nominate Donald Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

PHNOM PENH— Cambodia has announced plans to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. The decision follows his involvement in stopping a recent border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol confirmed the news on Friday.
Speaking to reporters in Phnom Penh, Chanthol expressed deep gratitude to Trump for his role. He stated that Trump brought peace to the region. According to Chanthol, Trump’s actions qualify him for the world’s top honour for promoting peace between nations.
When asked via text to confirm Cambodia’s plan, Chanthol replied with a simple “yes.” His response came after public statements praising Trump’s intervention. The nomination highlights Trump’s increasing influence in Southeast Asian diplomacy.

In an official statement, Pakistan strongly condemned India’s “unprovoked aggression”, labelling it a grave violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. The incident tragically resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians, including women and children.
