CM Maryam Nawaz Inaugurates Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Center in Murree

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Center in Murree, marking a milestone in providing advanced healthcare facilities in the region. She announced that for the first time, cardiac surgeries and bypass operations will be available in Murree.

Maryam Nawaz also revealed plans for a clean water scheme and announced the upgradation of the historic Mall Road at a cost of billions. She further stated that new parks including a Wildlife Park, Bansra Gali Park, PIA Park, Krishi Park, and a Biodiversity Park will be developed.

The Chief Minister announced the launch of a glass train/ART project between Rawalpindi and Murree, along with shuttle buses from Samli Hospital to the Cardiology Center and an upcoming electric bus project.

She also disclosed that a 100-bed hospital will be built in Kotli Sattian, along with multiple tourism and development projects.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that politics means serving people. “Murree is my home, and its people have always shown love for Nawaz Sharif,” she said.

She added that work on the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital in Lahore is progressing rapidly, and cardiology facilities have now been introduced in Sahiwal division as well. The Punjab government is committed to improving healthcare infrastructure across the province.
